DIAMETER / LENGTH: This is the main dimension of the hand operated part of the component (measure the diameter across the handwheeel or the length of the handle).

THREAD SIZE: This is the thickness of the thread (M6, M8, M10, M12, M16). Generally, this is appropriate to the size of the component and is chosen based on the strength of the fixing required.

THREAD LENGTH: The length of the threaded stem (choose what length of thread is suitable for you application).

MATERIALS: Phenolic/Bakelite/Duroplast material offers temperature resistance -30 to +160 degrees Celsius. Female inserts are available in brass, zp steel and stainless steel, male inserts are zp steel and stainless steel.
