BALL KNOB SELF FIXING

Self Fixing Ball Knobs allow the user to simply push the knob in to place without having to screw it. The internal bore is tapered to ensure a snug fit. Made from black phenolic, they are available in sizes ranging from 16mm diameter to 40mm diameter.

DIAMETER / LENGTH: This the main dimension of the hand operated part of the component (measure the diameter across the handwheel or the length of the handle).

BORE SIZE: This is the diameter of the shaft the knob fixes onto. Generally, this is appropriate to the size of the component and is chosen based on the strength of the fixing required.

MATERIALS: Phenolic/Bakelite/Duroplast materials offer temperature resistance -30 to +160°C. Female inserts are available in brass, zp steel and stainless steel, male inserts are zp steel and stainless steel.
