DIAMETER / LENGTH: This is the main dimension of the hand operated part of the component (measure the diameter accross the handwheel of length of the handle).

THREAD SIZE: This is the thickness of the thread (M6, M8, M10, M12, M16). Generally, this is appropriate to the size of the component and is chosed based on the strength of the fixing required.

THREAD LENGTH: The length of the threaded stem (choose what length of thread is suitable for your application).
